Tissue
TISSUE is a devised, theatrical investigation into the effects of pornography on the lives of young Australians.

Our global interconnectedness allows a torrent of both media and judgement to rain down on us, whilst cultures of shame and embarrassment prevent any healthy discourse. TISSUE will explore the differences between what we've been told we should want and what we really crave, between shame and privacy, and between intimacy and entertainment.
From the shared vision of two recent graduates from WAAPA’s Bachelor of Performing Arts course comes a bold new work with a spotlight pointed right at your browser history.

"Twenty minutes or so into Samantha Maclean and Timothy Green’s slick, erotically-charged Tissue, I stopped taking reviewer’s notes. My last scribble, a not particularly perceptive “Oh Boy! Wowee!”, was testament to both the sheer quantity of its action, and the dazzling way it had been delivered."

"The show is technically near-perfect; Maclean and Green have coached their cast extraordinarily well"
