"The Golem is a stupendous piece of theatre.

...actions presented within the performance are rich to the point of overflowing in potential meaning and allusion... Spatially we as audience members are guided through the venue, but dramaturgically we are encouraged to simply drift.

Green’s tall thin form is stretched out across the ground, he comes to resemble Ryszard Cieslak from Jerzy Grotowski’s famous ecstatic physical theatre work The Constant Prince (1965)."

"The Golem is like dancing dreams inside the thought processes of individuals, as elusive as they are revealing.

Wherever they are, their performances are ardent and vivid, wordless but physically and emotionally demanding.
The performances are magnificently supported by the production’s creative team. Morris’s set is a perfect platform for the action, and, while Lui’s lighting often seems hardly there or wavering, it miraculously always achieves exactly the required effect.

...when they deliver, which they do often, they are at the top of this town’s pecking order."

"Bower and Green made use of outstanding physical acting

Uniquely weird and wonderful... absurd yet constantly captivating

The show itself is unique and utterly immersive through its splendid performers and exceptional lighting, sound, and set design"

"Highly physical, highly energetic, the two performers move between the two performances with outstanding timing and great organisation.
...this is a moving production and one that leaves you thinking"
